Undo the Damage of Hypocritical Christians

I have met so many people that have been turned away from Christianity do to its believers. Believers have lived reckless lives and have not been held accountable for their actions. How many Christians do you know who habitually sin? How many times have you met a Christian, and were betrayed by their judgments? Do people realize how deep their hypocritical actions hurt the church?

Did you know that going to church on Sunday worshiping God and then leaving the parking lot the same way you came in is hypocritical? If we do not put the word of God into practice in our daily lives then we truly are not following God. Yes there are days where we make mistakes but a true believer will not continue to live in darkness. The Holy Spirit will convict them to where they will yearn for change.

What kind of message are we sending the rest of the world if we do not practice what we preach? The damage is phenomenal! In order for unbelievers to believe in Jesus they need to see the Holy Spirit through you. The only way for the Holy Spirit to shine through you is to deny yourself and let God take complete control. This process of course does not happen over night, but in order for God to use you, you have to be asking for his will in your life on a daily basis.

If you want to take up your cross you will have to go through many trials and tribulations that is just part of the deal. How else is God supposed to change your inner being? He uses situations to weed out all the bad fruit in our selves and lives. A hard situation will usually bring out ugly results which, then in return shows us where our faults are and what needs to be done to change that. The word of God is life to our soul with out it you can not have a victorious walk.

God does not want to lose even one of his children so Church it is time to really look at yourself are you being hypocritical? If you are repent and ask God to help you to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. The unbelievers’ souls depend on us that should be enough to charge you up and decide the importance of keeping the word of God. On judgment day we all will be held accountable for our actions or lack of.

God wants to be apart of every aspect of our lives. He wants us to completely rely on his guidance. God wants to help us in our troubles but also through daily life. God has placed passions and desires on your heart for a reason. There are dreams you have in your life that if they line up with the will of God can and will really happen. You need to take every gift you have and ask God how you can use it to benefit the kingdom of God. There is a lot of work to be done out there and not enough people working. People need to offer their time money talents and bodies to the kingdom of God. Does someone need the door held open for them? Is there a person you know struggling who could use some financial help? Are you gifted in helping people? Maybe you’re gifted in writing or singing. There are countless gifts and we are one body in Christ without all of the parts working together little gets done. The end times are fast approaching if we are not working on our walk with God on a daily basis we will fall when the real trouble comes our way.

God changes us little by little it is by Grace that we are saved and so Grace is the only way we can change. You can not get into heaven by works but only by Gods grace at the same time he openly says that many people will come to him and call on his name saying they did this or that for him. Unless you have a true intimate relationship with him and do the will he has called you to do. He will turn you away.

The only way to truly share with an unbeliever the love of Christ is to be a walking example of his love and devotion. Am I saying that we have to be perfect and never make mistakes? No. We can never be perfect as long as we are in these fleshy bodies. The point is to try as hard as you can to live a holy life with Christ Jesus. The only way that you can change is with God and God alone. We are not able to change and the more we try the more frustrated we become. Just because Jesus died for us it does not give us the right to habitually sin. Doing this grieves the Holy Spirit and proves that you are not a true believer. The bible clearly states that a Christian is acknowledged by their fruit and fruit alone. If you have no fruit then you do not have Jesus in your life. Fruits are Love, Kindness, Peace, Patience, Self Control, Joy, Goodness , Faithfulness ,Humility, and so on. Basically anything that shows a pure motive of love. Jesus was a living example of unconditional love dieing for you and me so that we can have a relationship with God.So get up and do your part take your place in the work of the kingdom of God.

God Bless You!

really great article. You are so true. I preach about that all the time through my poetry. It's so sad how some believers would be so judgmental towards others and it's right cause we all have sinned and we should be ashamed of that. I believe if we're going to criticize someone do it to yourself first. As Christians we all should focus on God every second because life is too short.

I like the fact that you put the Holy Spirit in your article as well. Often times He's forgotten but He plays an important role in the lives or true believers dwelling in our hearts to guide us to salvation. It's only through His power we are able to focus on Jesus and live by the word of God to the fullest.

Just gotta love CHRIStians who lie to you, about you, cheat you out of money they are not owed, then tell you that since their Almighty Lord Jesus CHRISt has forgiven them, you should too. Of course, even though they are now "right" with Jesus, they offer no restitution for the money they STOLE. . . and when you tell people about their lies and thievery, all of sudden YOU are the evil one . . . LOL LOL LOL If being a CHRIStian means forgiving these "CHRIStians", I'd rather not be a CHRIStian . . . .

I really feel the need to let people know. The things I write about are things I am going through or are things I have been through. These are the lessons God is teaching me or taught me. Please don't think because these messages are so convicting that I think I am perfect and judgmental. God bless you all as we grow and strive to be the best people we can be in Christ! Don't get discouraged and give up! You make a mistake God will take it and make it into a good situation for you. So keep faith!
